K-DESK 75i-table
(with rotary table)

Description

HEAD:

  • electric press with a pressure of 750 kg,
  • rewinding film with servo-electric drive and film level sensor,
  • hotplate size 165 x 165 [mm],
  • guiding the film with the use of pneumatic rollers supporting the thimble with the wound film.

FILM GUIDING – in the machine the film can be guided in two ways, each of them is quickly and easily changeable.

  • FIXED FILM GUIDING – a fixed position independent of the head movement (choice of film guiding type – depending on the detail shape).
  • MOVABLE FIXED FILM GUIDING – position dependent on head movement (selection of film guiding type – depending on detail shape).

TABLE WITH TABLE TOP– table top size 620 [mm]

EXPANDING ROLLERS – enable the HS film to be firmly fixed and quickly replaced. The expanding rollers are controlled by a button that releases the roll with the foil and, after replacement, blocks it in order to continue the machine’s further operation. Driven by servo motors.

SIDE GUARDS WITH SLIDING DOORS – sliding side covers enable easy film replacement and facilitate machine changeover. This type of guard saves a lot of space around the machine.

TECHNOLOGICAL LOCKER – two storage lockers are located on the left and right side of the machine. Equipped with a retractable tool wall with telescopic guides. It allows to store tools, dies, HS film.

MATRIX & HANDLE – front-back, left-right and angle adjustment. In addition, adjustment of the tilt of the entire matrix. Quickly changeable die with a specialized thermal handle reducing the risk of burns.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR K-DESK 75i-table:

CUTTING KNIFE - used to precisely separate the film from the detail in a completely controlled and precise manner. The use of a knife that moves in accordance with the set work trajectory allows to reduce losses when using the foil, while ensuring its correct tension and working with details with complex geometry.

DEIONISER - is used to neutralise excess static electricity before the decoration process.

MOMENTARY MODE - designed for details for which the technology requires a specific load during printing. The printhead moves towards the detail, after contact with it exerts a certain pressure and returns to the waiting position.

SIEMENS control and components

CONSUMABLES RECOMMENDED FOR THE MACHINE:

HOT STAMPING FILM - a special material used in the hot stamping process - is a thin layer of film containing a pigment or metallic layer that is transferred to the substrate through heat and pressure. Hot stamping foil is available in a wide variety of colors and finishes, including metallic, holographic and matte and is commonly used to add decorative or branding elements to products. Foil stamping is popular for its durability, high-quality finish and ability to create eye-catching designs.

SILICONE HOT STAMPING DIE - is made of a flexible, heat-resistant silicone material that is molded to create the desired design or image. The flexibility of the silicone allows it to adapt to the contours of the substrate, which results in a more accurate and even transfer of the foil to the material. Additionally, the heat-resistant properties of silicone allow it to withstand the high temperatures and pressures involved in the HS process. Silicone dies are a popular choice for stamping on curved or irregular surfaces as they conform easily to the surface without causing damage to the substrate.

BRASS HOT STAMPING DIE - is made of a solid piece of brass on which the desired design or text is engraved. Brass is chosen for its durability and thermal conductivity, which allows it to withstand high temperatures and pressures. The precision of the engraving process ensures that the design is accurately transferred to the substrate with each impression, resulting in a high-quality, uniform finish. Brass dies are commonly used in applications such as bookbinding, packaging and label printing, where the same design is used over and over again in large print runs. Due to their durability, brass dies can be used for many thousands of impressions, making them a cost-effective and reliable solution for high-volume hot stamping.

HOT STAMPING HOLDER - is a set of fixtures installed on a hot stamping machine, essential for positioning the workpiece the printed image is applied on. Each device is made on the basis of details received from the customer - we adapt to the customer's needs. Keller offers its own proprietary fastening systems.
